Why Ayodhya first or Varanasi first?

The traditional recommendation for pilgrims doing both cities is: Varanasi first, Ayodhya second. The Saryu Aarti timing shifts by approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour between summer and winter – and this directly affects your Day 1 schedule. Many tour packages advertise “Saryu Aarti at 7:00 PM” without noting the seasonal shift. In winter (October-March), the Aarti may begin at 5:30-6:00 PM.
